About

From May 22nd till 25th, May 31st, and June 1st 2025 the Ontario region in collaboration with the GRAND RIVER SCHUTZHUND CLUB, has the great privilege of hosting one of the most incredible and memorable events of the year. The event includes athletes competing in the three phases of the sport (tracking, obedience, and protection), showcasing the beauty of German Shepherd. This event is open to the public free of charge and offers unique opportunity to see the German Shepherd at its best.

Biography of SV Judge Mr. Rainer Mast

​

Mr. Mast joined the SV in 1973 as a Teenager.  The kennel “Vom Ermingerweg” is registered on him. The kennel was founded by his grandfather in 1949.  He held various offices in his local Club.

 

Mr. Mast was a board of directors member of LG Wurttemberg for many years.  In 2002, Mr. Mast was appointed as a breeding judge. In 2006 he was appointed as the SV Koermeister and in 2019 as the SV Character and Temperament Evaluator.  During his time as a breed judge, Mr. Mast judged across all continents in over 50 different countries.  He judged National Sieger breed shows in over 30 different countries.

 

Among all his highlights are certainly the appointments in 2013, 2022, and 2025 to judge the German National Sieger Breed Show.
